My nomination: "You Don't Own Me":

Don't tell me what to say,
Don't tell me what to do,
And when I go out with you,
Don't put me on display!

Other suggestions?

"ESL Teacher Blues"

(recorded during his stint at ECC Jongno, not later when he finally got on with a university).

Pet Shop Boys 'What have I done to deserve this?'

We don't have to fall apart, we don't have to fight
What have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this?
We don't need to go to hell and back every night
What have I, what have I, what have I done to deserve this?

Some of the suggestions were pretty good and made me laugh! Very Happy But I think that Sacrificed from Edge of Sanity will be the winner hands down. Especially after I tempered with the lyrics a little bit. I sure hope that no one takes an offense - to me your line of work is as worthy as any other!

----------
Sacrificed ESL-mix

There's a yellow sand blowing through Seoul,
a sandstorm that makes the mountains roll.
I can feel its might from day to night.
The fires of ESL-hell I can see them burning bright.

The time has come to take me away.
Way down deep to where the hagwon director stay.
This day I see is my last up here.
I have no clue and I have only fear.

I am off the earth. I am on the border.
I am never to return.
Victimized, I am his chosen
In hagwon I shall teach.

[Chorus:]

I AM SACRIFICED.
Deeper down down deeper down down deeper down.
Deeper down.

[repeat]

I seek for money in this world of heat,
no longer a man in this world I am meat.
I have to pay for all waygook sins,
in this business where only hagwon wins.

Where hagwon wins.

I am off the earth. I am on the border.
I am never to return.
Victimized, I am his chosen.
In hagwon I shall teach.

[Chorus]

The garlic smell is much stronger here...
The kimchi is causing tears.
You can never guess what ESL-hell is like.
Until you're teaching in here!
----------

And those words written in bold are not in the original song. Unfortunately this song doesn't work that well if you have not heard the original. Sad

You're a mean one Mr. Grinch

Quote:
You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crocodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.

The three words that best describe you, are as follows, and I quote:
STINK STANK STUNK
You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splotched
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.

Your soul is an appalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseous super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked hoss.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a three decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich
With arsenic sauce
