we have one teacher on vacation so i expect some disturbance in my schedule... what concerns me is that whenever there is a schedule change my manager tells me... today i noticed that my schedule is a half-hour longer and no mention of it was made to me... the company policy is that i am paid overtime by the hour... something makes me think they will try to sneak there way out of paying me overtime by assigning it to me in half-hour blocks...

they have been doing this to my coworker all week but he won't say anything about it...

is this lucid, i am not feeling the caffeine yet...

Sounds like it. Tight buggers.

But, won't all those half hours add up to a few hours eventually?
So, really they should be paying you overtime.

I'd have a chat with them.

"think" or "are"?

If you add up your hours, it should be quite easy to find out if you are doing overtime. If so, you await your monthly pay and see if o.t. has been added on, right?

I'm not being patronizing, but seems like an easy issue.
