|
|
Hi, if anyone has some good conversation activities which have been effective with high school students I would love to hear them. I have used quite a few and am in need of more ideas. The class sizes range from about 15 to 33. I have a lot more ideas that work great with small classes but need more for larger classes.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Take care, all. |

www.breakingnewsenglish.com
great site with some good handouts(all current affairs)....I donated some money to keep it going as the owner of the site has helped me out a lot...
If their level is good this is what i would do for a 50 min class:
Intro of the topic(2 mins)
Expand on it and see what they have to say(20 mins)
Make sure they understand all the words and context(5 mins)
Reading(10 mins)
Answer the questions(15 mins) but if you have longer than a 50 minute lesson you can include more of the questions....
Works great with adults as well |
