I'll throw this guy up:

Very honest real estate dude, but I think his fee is higher (can't verify) and everyone says he's odd (didn't really notice it myself). He only deals with the general Itaewon area, but he doesn't beat around the bush like pretty much all of the other real estate agents I visited. He showed me apartments that actually fit what I was looking for.

I think there's something called oneroom.com or something along those lines that deals with cheaper places throughout Seoul. Also, real estate agents here are more or less generally just trying to do their job, but once you show interest in a place, weird things almost invariably start to happen.

Magical price increases, sudden deal cancellations after contracts have been signed, things like that.
