| It depends what you like, Moon had uber amounts of energy, but was a little too splashy and sloppy for me, and too busy with his rolls too, he was not the most sensitive to the music around him. To me a good drummer is the backbone of a track... |

Well, that's why he wasn't a good drummer but a great one, arguably the greatest rock drummer- he defied known conventions of what 'good' drumming should be.
But in the end the subject of drumming is like the subject 'Does Zep rock?' and 'Beatles vs. Stones': you may choose red while others choose green, and a few freaks will always say ultraviolet is the best colour... |

But its fun, and we can air out opinions and knowledge and passion for music, and its a topic where its easier to agree to dissagree than, say, are Koreans xenophobic nationalists... |

Agree 110% and yes, this IS the fun sort of arguing (of which there aren't many left). |

Others took a violin bow to an electric guitar. Jimmy Page is accused of ripping off Jeff Beck and Clapton.

I believe it was David Gilmour who said that the best show he ever saw was Cream. He said it was so good, he bets Jimmy Page must have been there and thought, "Shit, I can do that. I'll make tons of cash." |
