Hey all,
I am coming up on the end of my year here in Korea in August. I have told my high school that i will not be coming back for another year. I plan on travelling for at least four or five months and was wondering if i can ask for the cash equivalent of a one way ticket home.
If i cannot get the cash equivalent is it possible to sell a one way ticket back at Incheon after it is purchased by my school?
Thing is when i told my coteacher that i was going travelling he himself did not now for sure whether or not this is possible. His english is extremly poor so i was wondering if any of you could clear this up.
Thanks a million |

The school could price a ticket and give you that amount. They do not like doing this though.
You may get some resistence. |

Offer to buy the ticket yourself and get reimbursed from the school. Just get cancellation insurance on it. You buy the ticket....they photocopy it and have a reciept...you cancel it and cash it in and buy the ticket you want to where you want to go!
Thats what I did. |
