Hi you happy Davers.
My name is noguri and I'm moving to Korea next month. I know Korea has a lot of martial arts, TKD, Hapkido and Taekkyun. The thing is, I want to have classes in "internal arts" like Tai Chi or Chi Kung.
I know that in Korea this exists and it is called danjeon hohup ["tan t'ien breathing"] but where can I learn it? Is it rare to be taught this in a Hapkido class in Korea? Is there a Korean martial art that includes these meditations and exercises?
I was told by an acupuncturist that my chi is not circulating and that is why I am so horribly fatigued. Here in the U.S. one can take all kinds of classes but I will need to take them in Korea since I'm definitely moving.
If I can't get my energy boosted I will totally suck as an ESL teacher. I don't think Bacchus-F will solve my problem. |
