Joo-Hominem ...

So should we then assume you're not familiar with the School of the AmeriKas' history of training terrorists to help fight Washington's dirty little wars thoughout the Southern hemisphere?

Hard to believe really. Surely you're just trying to be coy.

Prove it . Prove what you say.

Prove the US trained death squads

At any rate most of the bad guys the US supported during the cold war were fighting against those just as bad as the guys the US supported

You likely know more about the truth than i do.

As i said, i strongly suspect you're simply ashamed of the truth & reluctant to be more honest on the issue of Washington's complete & utter hypocrisy.

The School of the Americas did not train any death squads. The death squads in Salvador and elsewhere were extraconstitutional, civilian entities -- look at the landowners to best understand them.

And anyway, IF you have to look up the School of the Americas in Wikipedia and that is all you know about it, THEN you don't know much.

Indeed, i'm confident you know more about the truth lurking behind this one than i do.

Unfortunately i feel you're not being as honest as you could in coming clean on the real history & legacy of this nororious US "TERRORIST" & assassin training camp.

You are presenting innuendo and antiEstablishment propaganda as fact and are by far the most intellectually dishonest poster on this board.

Gopher, JRGR -- you both are 2 blind mice. MUCH documentation to the fact that America has and always has been an aggressive military regime, supporting its economic agenda. Forget about alll that communist/freedom crock of........ It is about companies, $$$$. I wish you could open your eyes but you can't , you are blind.

I will post something regarding Iran shortly, when I have time. I made a loooong post to educated you guys but it disappeared when sending. Just so damn busy these days .............

But make no mistake............besides Coca-Cola, America's biggest export has been military know how and specifically TERROR. That is why all the "war on terror" rhetoric in America is sooooo damn ironic. It should read -- "war on their terror".

I'll leave you with the lyrics of Dylan's Masters of War.

You might see yourselves and others described in the lyrics.

Quote:
Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build the big bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks

You that never done nothin'
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly

Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain

You fasten the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in your mansion
As young people's blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud

You've thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins

How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead

Got any sources?
IGTG already has the song lyric source covered and I think you're next in line to be crowned with a tinfoil beanie.

So DD, are you a LIHOP or a MIHOP theorist?

Pilger I believe wanted to free Saddam from the sanctions.

Pilger opposed the sanctions because it was the civilian population ( in particular children) that suffered and died in the 100000s, possibly up to 1000000 depending on sources like the Red Cross, Red Crescent, UN. The sanctions justified by the Western powers as necessary to weaken and destroy Saddam only strengthened his grip on Iraq. After all its a bit hard to organise a half decent resistance when you have to spend all day foraging for food and medicine for your dying children.

John Pilger has always opposed Saddam Hussein, when he attacked Iran using chemical weapons and when he did the same against the Kurds. You can contrast this against the Western powers and media at the time who denied, cast doubt on then finally rationalised Saddam's use of chemical weapons as 'self defense'. After all Saddam was 'Ours' right? Only a decade or so later when Saddam proved to be more of a liability than an 'asset' did the crocodile tears start to flow and the public in the West needed to know what a monster he was.

As for that pic of Pilger next to Saddam's portrait, another example of your cheap shot smearing tactics JooRip.

John Pilger is a highly regarded journalist internationally:

' John Pilger's 'Stealing a Nation' has won both the Royal Television Society's top award as Britain's best documentary in 2004-5, and a 'Chris Award' at the Columbus International Film and Video Festival. The coveted RTS award goes to a film, said the judges, 'displaying refreshingly unfashionable passion and forensic skill'.

The RTS award was presented in London 15 March; the Chris Award considered one of the most prized documentary awards in the US, will be presented in Columbus on 12 November.'

For the record, I don't think the OP's suggestion is impossible, or that the US is incapable of such behavior. I just think that given the conditions in Iraq, and the money put into democratization, its fairly unlikely that the US would be actively sabotaging its own stated goals.

I'm asking for a little bit of evidence, is all, and that can come from anyone, not just the OP.

Yes, us Jews look nice in beanies..........but really anyone defending the CIA in any way / shape / form is indeed a wacko and doesn't look at the plethora of sources, the multitude of evidence, the zillions of former agents attesting, the year upon year of evidence that the CIA misinformed America, spent $$$$$ rampantly, siphoned massive funds, created many black sites, organized and trained foreign armies, promoted terror and destabilized governments...........(and let us not mention, destroying the public record, the toilet paper of its deeds --- the most serious offence/it's covert and holier than thou, cowboy attitude). You sir are the wacko .

Still no time to address the Iranian question. Later but please read ALL the SHAH's men in the meantime.....good start at re-education. .........

Visit this site of Ralph McGehee, a former long time CIA agent. In particular look at the links and the CIA reading list for more info from Abu Ghraib to Zia.........He sums things up by saying.....

Quote:
The CIA is not now nor has it ever been a central intelligence agency. It is the covert action arm of the President's foreign policy advisers. In that capacity it overthrows or supports foreign governments while reporting "intelligence" justifying those activities. It shapes its intelligence, even in such critical areas as Soviet nuclear weapons capability, to support presidential policy. Disinformation is a large part of its covert action responsibility, and the American people are the primary target of its lies.

http://www.serendipity.li/cia.html#mcgehee

Another agents says and attests to CIA hubris in stating how "above the law" they are.......

Quote:
Everything is done in the name of self-defense, so they can do anything because nothing is forbidden in the War Powers Act," said one official who was briefed on the CIA's original cover program and who is skeptical of its legal underpinnings. "It's an amazing legal justification that allows them to do anything," said the official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issues.

Quote:

So DD, are you a LIHOP or a MIHOP theorist?

Neither -- I think things just happen in small ways, becoming bigger......there is no BIG conspiracy, it is all about the underlying social and legal conditions which governments unconsciously operate under. Unfortunately in America, they have created a govt agency which acts without authority, lawless. I am not a theorist, I am a realist and on the side of all those who have died because of CIA "meddling" and war mongering...........how many cheques have they signed for munitions (all on a covert budget in the trillions) which have been used by all sides, to kill all from any side. They just are in the business of death.......
