One of the curry makers here has something they call "Vermont Apple" curry.. which doesn't taste at all like apples. What is the deal? |

I know you can get Japanese brands ("House" or "S&B") of curry roux blocks called Vermont Apple.
Apple probably goes really well in certain curries, but I guess in this case it's more of a marketing gimmick...? |

It's a japanese curry. I think apple just refers to the fact that it's a little bit of a sweet curry. |

Huh, well, thanks all. I did really think that apple curry would be a great idea. Hmm, well I've got some apples in the fridge... |
