I have a second head growing out my cheek next to my nose, and I was curious about any techniques/home remedies that the other posters may be aware of.
I put this in the gen. discussion section because I figured there are more browsers.
I am 35, so these events are few-and-far between, but when I get a significant pimple (once a year or so) they can be monsters from the center of my head. This one is changing the shape of my cranium.
Highly upsetting because its not just a visual thing (although its gross). I can FEEL it all the time.
Luckily, I only had 1 class today that I think I will cancel and let the wifey and staff take care of the biz while I stay home and babysit this thing.
Anyway, any ideas, or just your sympathy, is greatly appreciated.

That sounds like a blibster. The course of action is contained in the definition of the word.

For some odd reason I've had hardly any zits whilst in Korea. However, I did have one recently on my cheek. Co-teacher of course commented on it...."are you going to take some medicine?"
Medicine....for a bloody zit? I looked at her with amused, smug bemusement.
I've some other stories about zits, and one of them concerns today. It's sports day today. I came inside because I'm bored stiff. One of the teachers has the most enormous, plaster-style things on her face. It actually looks like cement! Two of them! Looks totally ridiculous - worse than the actual zits.
Another time, my co-teacher had the most appallingly greesy skin one day. Someone told me she'd has "plastic surgery". Why, I asked? She had acne, the answer. Plastic surgery for a nasty outbreak of acne? What the f........?? |

Thanks, cubanlord. Now I'm just jealous of that guy. I don't think mine will be ready for that for quite some time. Its now just an angry subcutaneous lump with no whitehead in sight. |

Assuming you dont have access to creams/ointments that dry skin, try good ol' toothpaste. Not as effective, but it helps shrink 'em and take some red out. Don't know if K-toothpaste would do the same, though, because I don't know what's in it. |

Interesting. I will try.
Seriously, this thing has swelled the side of my face. Was I bitten by a spider or something while sleeping? Its messed up. I assumed it was a zit, but its possibly the most insidious zit ever if that is the case. Anyone ever had that happen (crazy insect bite while sleeping)? It could be elephantitis as well. |
