In an American study it was found that a teacher�s work area is 10 times more contaminated than the average job.
Teachers 17800 Dirt Particles per sq. inch
Accountant 6300
T.V. producer 2460
Lawyer 900
The objects that accounted for the greatest majority of the dirt were the desk, keypad, mouse, phone and plants. This may explain why teachers say they feel tired and contract a lot of colds. |

Well, since I share my computer with the children, it makes sense.
A gross story...the second kid to use the computer today told me, "these headphones are wet!" You can imagine that this class takes place immediately after recess. YUCK! |

Farts do not makes other sick, just grossed out. I think. 
Teachers are in contact with a lot more people than most jobs. All the kids who touch stuff that you touch, all the coughs or sneezes that land about. I wash my hands a few times a day at work.
Actually, I don't think I ever got sick from kids or co-workers, just from other stuff. |
