Question Has anyone heard of this recruiter? Is he good or bad? If you do know about him can you let me know. He is advertising in New Zealand. I encountered on a few years ago who was a bit dodgy. I am not sure if they are the same. Any help willl be appreciated. Thank you.

Avoid this guy! He tried to con me into a contract at a public school in Pyeongcheong City where he would have kept half of my salary every month. I have loads of other info about this guy as does the poster who goes by the handle of Tomwaitsforone. Also, a male and female from New Zealand who befriended him when he went to high school in New Zealand got screwed royally by him in December, 2004. They live in Haebongchon and hang at the New Phillies pub there. The woman's name is Michelle and I can not recall the guy's name. PM me for more details if you want, eh.

Tino failed to pick me up at the airport as you can see in his pathetic e-mail letter. My 1st employer(Daegu) ended the contract after 3 months. He sent me to another place in Seoul, that employer fired me illegally in the 11 month of my 1 year contract.

I don't know if this is the same guy or not. The contact information probably changed?

This copy of his e-mail to me is almost 3 years old. I would guess he has used the same e-mail message to send to other foreigners for each time he fails to wake up from the earlier So-ju binge.

The contact info. /names could have changed. I haven't checked.

I just got back from Airport. you weren't there.
I'm sure you are mad at me now.
dude, I have no idea how I can make a apology to you.
This is story what it happened.
Yesterday, I got a phone call from one of my best buddy saying his father past away.
so I had to go there.
before I go there.I gave your and other 2 people's flight schedule to one of my man to go pick you up at the aitport.
There were 2 people who are supposed to be arrived at 10:10 from states. Mark(my staff) misunderstood that all 3 of you will be on the same flight.
Unfortunately, I didn't take my cell when I went there.
At the airport, when he found out, you weren't there. He asked the airline company whether you were on the flight.
you weren't there at the flight and he couldn't get hold of me so that he just took back those two people.
As soon as I called him to find out, whether things went well or not. I came back to the office and found you were still there at the airport. Man, This is totally our fault. Sorry. there is nothing esle to tell you other than sorry.
Plz understand the situation and call me ASAP.
I have those two cell with me now.
I'm sure the school longing to meet you soon

Has anyone here dealt with Tino in the past? Back in 2003, he got me my first job in Korea. He was a bit of a shady character, but definitely one of the more interesting guys I have ever met in my long 8 years here.

Recruiters are inconsistent. They might be very good to one person but terrible to someone else.

Generally though, they will scam you if it is easy and profitable to do so.
