maybe i'm looking too hard for the morphemes when i read korean.

but the name "mokdong" grosses me out every time. (mok = throat + dong = poop)

& the word "pillow" is also funny. (paege: pae = stomach + kae = dog)

what are some others?

The classic, if perhaps too literal example, is:

dalk-dong-jip--chicken shit house

Ate it for years believing I was intrepid in savoring chicken butt with my cham-ee-seul. Tremendous disappointment when I learned they are only gizzards. |

				Chi'ak-san.....toothpaste mountain.

I can just imagine the busy little toothpaste miners shoveling minty toothpaste into carts. |

I just remembered one of my favorites.

Cinnamon is gyepi in Korean. Therefore, cinnamon is dog blood. |

				| I used to live in Jeongja, Bundang - which means "lovely village" or "sperm city" depending on how you emphasize the syllables. |
