I just did a test on http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and got 1328kbps download and 124kbps upload.

How does your computer fare? (no this is not a pissing contest I just want to know if my internet speed can be better or is already good enough).

You guys might want to try try Northstar for your testing as it's in Korea. You need to use IE for it, though. It's very thorough and I get some wonky high-speeds on this! It seems pretty legit as its run by the National Computerization Agency. You can also do traceroute and connectivity tests (but I don't really understand the results ). Here's the link:

(just click "Speedtest" at the top, and a small 'next' button at the bottom of the page. You may have to 'login' -- just write a name and email and put "Korea, South" in location...its useful if you want a testing history)

Download Speed: 59.0 Mbps (7.4 MB/s, 7,374,699.4 cps)
Upload Speed: 58.0 Mbps (7.3 MB/s, 7,254,016.0 cps)

Let me know what you think of that site. I'd like to get your thoughts (edit: and speeds) on it.
