Let's say you were given a 15 million won budget to make a 10 or so minute short. The crew is supplied along with lighting, a 16mm camera, and other assorted goodies.

And let's say you had been encouraged to make a funny flick containing humorous EFL classroom antics suitable for festival release.

What would the final message of your film be and what student/teacher antics would you use to get to the point?

A teacher teaching a 'private' in an internet cafe where he is pontificating on all matters English(or whatever else flits through is pea-brain). You should have him making egregious errors in both pronunciation and factual content. "Pronuonciation is important because there are some states in the USA where you can be thrown in jail for mistakes." or "There are fifty-two states in the USA."

I used to almost chew a hole in my cheek when I heard some of the BS that these 'teachers' spewed out when I was using the computers. (Thank Odin I have one in my apartu now.)

Oh, and at the end of the 'lesson' the teacher makes the students pay for his coffee. No, better yet, he ordered an ice cream sundae or pat bing su -something expensive.

Final message: ESL teachers doing privates can't be trusted.
