Hello,
I have an F-2-1 visa and am going on vacation. Before I switched to a F-2-1 I had a E-2 which had a multiple reentry on it.
Can anyone tell me if I need to get a reentry permit or am I ok without one? |

Thanks Jinju...I was hoping I was not going to need it, but I guess I'll have to make a trip to immigration tomorrow or better yet get it at the airport. |

i'm glad the OP asked the question because i'm leaving korea for a vacation soon and don't have a multiple entry on my F 2 1.
has anyone got it at the airport before? how much time should I give myself? |

I got my single re-entry permit at the airport last year. I had a F2 visa and they took me to the front of the line and processed it straight away. I was out of the office in 5 minutes.
Be careful not to overstay you re-entry visa though. I had to stay in Australia an extra month because of a family illness and on return to Korea the F2 was cancelled and I later found out that the 10 months I had on that F2 would not count towards time on my F5. |
