If you're into Scottish football (yeah, very few of you probably are) the BBC Radio Scotland website has live internet commentary streams for every match being played.
Best option for football is to get yourself out to your local K-league side and support them |

I wouldn't mind, but I live in Seoul. I guess our poor little town is too small a market to host a squad. |

Aye it's funny, isn't it?
But apparently a Seoul FC is on the way (along with Goyang and Incheon) for next season or the season after.
Failing that, you've got Anyang, Bucheon, Suwon and Songnam all easily within a 1 hour journey.
Songnam are the reigning champions and doing bloody well at the Peace Cup, but no-one likes them. Personally I'd recommend Suwon, the sleeping giants of the K-league.

There's no 'live' football on Geoje Island or Brentford on Skylife. |

Thanks for all the info - much appreciated. I'm currently in HK where they show virtually every kick of a Premiership match, but since being screwed by my boss I've decided to try Korea. If I get to watch Liverpool play at least a few times I'll be OK.
So the best bets for Premiership coverage are the big populated area's? Pity, I fancied a nice quiet place after the madness of HK. Ah well - can't have it all I suppose. |

I fear you may be dissapointed Snowblind. Most of Asia seems to show more Premiership games than Korea. Most of last season games were on MBC/ESPN with a Korean commentry which spoils your enjoyment. Last couple of months of season were on Star Sports in English which was much better. However we're talking about 1 live game a week on Sat night and replays of other games during the week. For some annoying reason Star also has countless adverts for all the games you will see on ESPN which you can't seem to get in Korea. You should be able to watch Liverpool games on www.liverpoolfc.tv however. |

Henrik,
we should stumble into each other in Seoul while singing some blistering renditions of,"Hail, Hail,...etc,...".

Ah... I didn't think immigration let Celtic fans into the country
or is it Rangers fans? |

Dear 'HOLiest of HOLies',
I had the good fortune to never be questioned with regard to my team allegiances. I would caution them in accepting such blights on the landscape as 'Ger fans, however I'm sure they also accept Chelsea fans.
What really irks me is their nonchalance at allowing New York Jets fans in.
Where are you "Holy"? We should have a few 'swallies' while berating some people.
all the best,

I'm near Suwon at the moment, but will be moving to Sillim-dong in Seoul in October after I get married.
There's a fair amount of Aberdeen fans in Korea, also know of a couple of Celtic fans and a Jambo, but thankfully no Rangers fans (so far!)
You know you can buy the new official Celtic shirt in some of the sports shops in Dongdaemun? I got one hell of a shock to see a "Larsson 7" shirt proudly displayed in a shop window...
Do you follow Korean football at all? |

Holy,
Thanks for the pertinent information. I'm also just outside Seoul in a wee hamlet. Great news on the 'Ger absence. However, I am sure as no sooner are these meanderings 'oot' my mouth than a plane load of Orangemen will have a conference in Seoul.

There may be a lot of pollution and dodgy smells in this country. However, tis a breath of fresh air compared with a stroll through Govan.
Good to hear there are other Scots bhoys and sheepies here

"Can you hear the Rangers sing?"
A definite "NO" where we are located at the moment. We should really arrange a gathering of those gifted with being so close to 'Paradise'.
On the anniversary of the "Demolition Derby" perhaps?...
take care all 'Tims' wherever you are.
