| worknplay seems to be working for me. I posted my resume up there and at the moment I am getting a coupe of emails a day from owners asking me to start in September. |

They won't offer you that many positions because they only offer you positions they think you will be interested in and will be compatible with you. The people at worknplay are friendly, honest and hard-working. Yes, they are a recruiting company, but why paint everything with the same brush? I've met a lot of useless garbage teachers here, but that doesn't mean all taechers are like that. Same thing goes for recruiters and pretty much in every walk of life.
How many other recruting agencies do you know support orphanages? |

Maybe a little introspection is in order before you 'slam-dunk' others. |
I value introspection quite a lot. I also set out to hold up a mirror to posters who are most judgemental. If I come across as judgemental in the process, then perhaps I am being hypocritical. Or perhaps I am adjusting to the general zeitgeist of this place. After all, many posters seem to have adopted a social Darwinist attitude in judging other posters. If my opinion of them puts me in the firing line for judgement myself, then that is a side effect that I will have to accept. |

| My girlfriend used work n play for her current public school job. Its pretty sweet. The people at work n play are pretty nice. They are assigned to all the public school positions in sungnam city (ie Bundang) The positions are pretty easy but the pay is a little low for beginners (1.8 million) |

| I got my current job at a public school through WorkNPlay. No complaints. I've had no followup contact from them since I got the job, but then I haven't needed any. I think they're fine for new teachers to Korea who appreciate a little initial hand holding. |

| You're bound to have concerns about making a major life change like moving to Korea. It's only natural to be worried, but don't let it prevent you from moving forward. You have more of an idea about where to start than you think you do. You're already checking the postings, and checking out the recruiters. Once you're on a recruiter's radar screen, they'll let you know what you need to do next. |

Thanks so much for the posts. I feel better that I am on the right track for my first step.
I know it would be a bit difficult for me to get the offers in Korea because of my non-caucasian face. But wish me luck.
