Ok so I have my mum and 2 aunts visiting me in Seoul at the moment. Now they all quite fancy going to a spa or sauna however they are not willing to get naked!
Now I am not too keep on seeing them naked but it wouldn't bother me as I have seen so many naked koreans now and been loked at so many times. They however are specific on this no nakedness rule. Are there any in or near Seoul or geongju that you keep a swimsuit on in?
Oh by the way I want the kind with pools not just the dry areas. |

Jjimjilbang might be a hard concept for them to get -- the idea of just getting sweaty & hanging out. The naked spa portion is what rounds the experience out.
A waterpark visit might be better. Caribbean Bay near Everland, Waterpia in Sokcho, & other resorts offer a variety of pools for mixed swimsuited dipping, but all of these too are best with a naked cleansing finale.
Were they my relatives, I'd urge them to give the whole experience a try. Part of their exotic adventure. |

yeah I have pushed but the fact that my mum and 2 aunts are visiting me at all is pretty amazing so I dont want to make them uncomfortable.
I think we will just have to give it a miss - a shame but hey they are here in the first place and are enjoying the food even trying the kimchi! I am quite proud of them really!
If they dont get to go then they know it is their own hang ups and not because of anything else!
Thanks so far for the input! |

If you have a chance to travel, Spa Castle (in Deoksan) and Ocean Castle (Anmyeondo) have nice outdoor pools. Pricey but nice.
