I try not to "collect" too much of anything here (too small of an apartment). But, yeah... I enjoy collecting stuff like this.

That's great... a fellow collector. Where do you shop for this stuff? I can't find a decent one with good stock. I'm looking for 12" and above stuff.

Do you read korean? I need help translating the local toystore websites and to locate their whereabouts. Examples are 7ing and figureking.

Actually, if I ever really want something, I grab it when i am on vacation.

You might find some stuff in Meyong-dong (in the Avatar building there are some shops there). But for the most part.. it's tough to find.

There's that kind of shop on the number 10 road in Pusan. If you're at the Kukjeh market area head north and you'll, after a couple of blocks, see the number ten road sign indicating go left or right. Go left, westwards, and it's towards Hadan neighbourhood. About half way between Kukje Market area and Hadan, on the left, you'll see one of those shops. Window display with glass shelves full of different, individual, plastic molded Japanese characters. Inside there are robot models, figures, most of the stuff is Japanese.

Pusan? That's far away from Seoul, right?

Man... why is everything in Pusan? Exhibition too, I realised.

I'd explore looking for such shops. At areas like Gangnam first (Coex, then around the neighbourhood). Little shop tucked away somewhere. Or maybe Apkujong. Rich neighbourhoods.
