I'm moving out of my officetel next week and have a couple of bags of clothing items I'd like to get rid of. I live in Sunae-dong, near the subway station and the Lotte department store. Does anybody know of charitable organizations like Goodwill, or any other place nearby that would accept them? I'd hate to throw this stuff away. |

they have green mailbox looking things on some street corners. I believe those are for clothing donations. |

I've only ever seen ONE, and it's a bit tricky to get to....Halfway between Imae and SeoHyun stations, on a side street that runs towards the river, in front of a Family Mart - a big green box that is for clothing donations.
It sticks in my mind especially because after nearly 5 years here, it's the only one I've ever seen anywhere!
In the garbage/recycling area of your officetel one of the bins will most likely be for clothing, though. It's a bit easier than dragging it very far. |
