You realize you're advertising "house" to a board that probably doesn't have too many 18-19 year olds reading?

sorry, i didn't realize there was an age limit for house music. when did this happen?

actually, i was advertising to those who are rather sick of sitting on the same old stool in the pub or feeling much the same of hearing tired old hip hop tracks 5 times in 1 night.

come out if you want something different!

You have absolutley no idea what you're talking about. What type of "house" music are you talking about? Deep house, soulful/vocal house, funky house, tech house, electro house, jazzy house, chicago/jackin house..

Hard house is for kids on drugs ive no doubt about that but many of the subgenres of house are very sophisticated forms of music that take influence from so many genres

Take a listen to any original productions of the likes of 'Masters at Work', 'St.Germain', 'Tortued Soul', 'Kerri Chandler','Latin Project' ,and 'Brian Tappert' for starters and tell me that its kid's music...

In fact many music legends, musicians and vocalists are now and have for some time been collaborating with house music producers in original works(not justr samples) such as Jocelyn Brown, Roy Ayers, Tito Puente, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, the list goes on.
Do you think these guys would do this if they thought it wasnt a serious and credible form of music??? (and not just for 18/19 year olds)

If you'd like to really learn about house music, I (and others here im sure) would be glad to share knowledege and recommend some decent listening
