do these still work for blizzard games?
anyone know where I could get one for warcraft 3?
I dont feel like sending my cd and $$ to blizzard in order foir me to get new cd keys. |

You can download and install World of Warcraft without any hassle at all. It will even update to the latest patch on the web for you. The problem with this game is that you actually have to use one of their keys to make a paid account for your character. Without the key, you can't play and since it is verified through the internet and maintained through an online account, there is no way to bypass the key with a keygen.
Sorry, I don't think that is the answer you wanted to hear. Anyways, I tried a downloaded version of WoW a while ago, just because I was curious about the game (I don't actually like that kind of RPG), and the above is what I found. |

i have the cd's, but i lost the keys.
I have to reformat my comp, so i dont wanna have to buy the game again. |

I'm pretty sure that the key is attached to your online account, so a reformat shouldn't affect your WoW gameplay at all. I installed the game with no problem and I didn't have a key. I just couldn't play the game because it wouldn't let me register an account.
If I am wrong, there has to be a .dat file, registry key, or something in the program files that should tell you what your key is. I suggest you contact the Blizzard support team for help on recovering your key in this case. |

its warcraft3 and not WOW. I checked with Blizz. They require you to send the original cd + about $10 U.S and it should ONLY take a couple of weeks. So, If I wanted to go through Blizz.; it would cost me about $30 US and a couple of weeks. It seems as if they are trying to encourage people to find other solutions; which Im trying to do. |

| There are keygens for Warcraft 3, and they work. However, you'll only be able to play single player and perhaps multi-player over a lan. You definitely can not do multi-player over the internet however. |
