6,700 for a basic burger thats not very good.
4,500 for a basic fries?
3,000 for a small coke?
Then 10% VAT tax added on.. what is that all about?

What is it with the crappy hamburgers at Itaewon?
I ate on the Yongson army base and the hamburger was wonderful, go 500 or so yards away and it tastes like horse crap. |

And Koreans line up for this place. Yeah, I tried it once. It makes the Thunder Burger place near Noksapyeong seem much better. That place I'd go back. |

Is it at COEX mall?
The line-up this last Saturday to just get in was longer than to see a film! |

Your product isn't selling very well in Korea?
Double the price! Koreans will buy it by the truckload!
I wish I were joking. |

Is it worth it? Why are fries so expensive? They change the fryer oil after each batch or something ? I just went to Smokey's Saloon in Itaewon for the first time. Really, really yummy. However, why is sparkling water so expensive? It was around 4000 won for a perrier- it was more than an imported beer! |

Thunder Burger is far more expensive with far smaller portions. |

Hopefully it's just a kraze - as in fad. I don't see them lasting forever at those prices. People are curious right now, so they're going there. Betcha in 6 months, they'll start having lunch specials.
If you want a nice burger, The Smokey Saloon in Itaewon is not bad.
What's the deal withh Krispy Kreme in Sinchon? 4000 won for a large Americano (watered down trash)? Geez! I went in there, got 2 coffees and 2 donuts and had to pay 10,000 won for that! |

Kraze has been around for a while. More than a year as far as I remember, pobably even longer. And they still have huge lines at COEX. Not at their yeoksam location though, but thats a crappier location. The burgers are really small and overpriced. The fries are not bad, I like their chilli fries, but theres no way in hell Im going there again to pay that much for a burger, fries and pop. |
