The whole damn forum there is a train wreck waiting to happen. As much as I believe in freedom of expression, on a business oriented site such as that one would think that the moderators/admin would be prudent enough to realize the counter-productive nature of the bile that is spilled in there and act accordingly. This is yet another reason why I gave up on ES an aeon ago, there is seldom anything worthwhile on that site.

Anyone who is patting himself on the back and being thankful this place is filled with so much more educated and civilized people, stop right now. Similar sentiments (western women suck, Korean men suck, Korea rocks because they pay you to sit on your ass and speak English, etc.) can frequently be seen on Dave's. It's merely that they've been edited to come out a little less offensively.

Yeah! No one degrades Korean women except Korean men! Goddamn foreigners, where the hell do they get off! Saying ANYTHING critical about Korea falls under violation of that whole "love us completely or be destroyed by us completely" section of their short list of actively enforced laws?

My re-education is long overdue, in that case.

I looked as hard as I could for any indication of Canada-bashing....and alas, found none. Don't they know most of the teachers here are Canadian? Canada...BAD. USA...good. They should have bashed Canada, but they didn't...and they're getting a fiery letter to the editor for that oversight.
