When I briefly met "Spinoza" at the "Dave's" gathering at the Bulldog I didn't size him up as a fighting opponent, but I mentally noted that he was fairly tall and seemed mild-mannered. I would guess that he considers himself more of a lover than a fighter ...

Since there is no real feud or animosity between us a "streetfight" is too hypothetical and unrealistic to speculate on as to the outcome. His clear advantages are height, reach and age. I'm probably stronger, heavier and crazier.

In a wrestling match, I think I'd have a big advantage unless he has wrestling experience or martial arts training. I wrestled in 9th grade at an undersized 160 lbs. in the "unlimited" weight division against guys who ranged between 20 and 90 lbs heavier than me. I had a winning record, and I was ahead 5 to 2 over a much bigger opponent who eventually won the (Mass.) state title when I got exhausted with 30 seconds left and got pinned. In high school football, I started every game on both offense and defense my junior and senior years (and blocked two punts in one game...)

Unless he has a big punch or good boxing skills that utilize his reach advantage I think I would just bull-charge him in a boxing match. I should be able to overpower him with uppercuts to the head and body shots to the liver (already weakened with alcohol...)

According to the poll results so far, Dave's crowd favors him by over a 3 to 1 margin. (At least about a quarter of you have decent analytical skills and insight with regard to sports prognostication...)

The Supreme Lord Krishna exhibited His omnipotent and almighty universal form of innumerable faces and eyes, revealing innumerable miraculous wonders, decorated with innumerable, dazzling ornaments, armed with innumerable gleaming weapons, magnificently attired and resplendently garlanded, annointed with equisite, celestial fragrances; phenomenally astounding, unlimited, effulgent and all pervading.
Bhagavad-Gita, chapter 11, verses 9,10,11

Somebody badly needs a thesaurus.

Here's someone who - since he's on the same level - may be easier for you to relate to:

Oh yeah, the Matsya incarnation.

I tell ya, a matsya-salad sandwich(with tomato, not too much mayo, on pumpernickel) would go down real good right now...

You'd be better off just sticking to matzo (and not drinking like a fish...)
