Can we use this thread to stir up some more anti-Americanism? I do hope so! After all, we wouldn't want to disappoint our little Gopher would we! |
Are your feet stopping the oxygen flow to that baby's head? I know abuse is generational, but only you can stop the cycle. |

You poor bewildered creature. I'm sorry about what your parents did to you...I truly am. Sigh. |

Another global warming gift: itchier poison ivy
Study finds more carbon dioxide makes for faster, more allergenic plant
WASHINGTON - Another reason to worry about global warming: more and itchier poison ivy.
The noxious vine grows faster and bigger as carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere rise, researchers report Monday.
And a CO2-driven vine also produces more of its rash-causing chemical, urushiol, conclude experiments conducted in a forest at Duke University where scientists increased carbon-dioxide levels to those expected in 2050.
Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas a chemical that traps heat similar to the way a greenhouse does thats considered a major contributor to global warming. Greenhouse gases have been steadily increasing in the atmosphere since the Industrial Revolution.
Poison ivy is common in woods around the country, making it a bane of hikers, campers, fighters of forest fires, even backyard gardeners. Its itchy, sometimes blistering rash is one of the most widely reported ailments to poison-control centers, with more than 350,000 reported cases a year.
Compared to poison ivy grown in usual atmospheric conditions, those exposed to the extra-high carbon dioxide grew about three times larger and produced more allergenic form of urushiol, scientists from Duke and Harvard University reported.
Their study appears in this weeks Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
The fertilization effect of rising CO2 on poison ivy ... and the shift toward a more allergenic form of urushiol have important implications for the future health of both humans and forests, the study concludes. |

I'm neither poor nor bewildered, but thanks for your concern. I was just worried about the baby, that's all. Why the attempt at psychoanalysis? Are you hot and 'heavy' to try and prove something? What could that be? Do you have an agenda?
I'm American as some posters may know. The current government makes me ill. What can I do? Say sorry to everybody I see? I'm certainly not running around trumpeting my country, although there is the best as well as the 'not so good' associated with it.
You sound like you think you know American people. Are you American? Where are you from? Do you think its a monolithic place? I'm from Boston, and the headline on the Boston Globe had one huge word on the front page when George W. was elected. It read:
AAARGGGHH!!!
Seriously.
The next time was:
NOT AGAIN!!!
There was disgust there. I don't like being lumped in with the people who thought he was cool.
Anyway, maybe you should go ride a bike or something. |

No psychoanalysis - just a smart remark. Any thicko could see that.
Firstly, you sound like a total nutcase. If you take things this bloody seriously you ought to think twice about reading this forum. This is not a place for the thin-skinned. Read your post again - quite frankly, you sound a silly little twit.
Secondly, point out the post where I've said made sweeping generalisations about the American people? Go on, I'd like to see it. Some of my most anti-Bush friends are American - fortunately they've got more going on in their heads than you.
Or are you upset because of my earlier potshot at Gopher? Gopher spends an inordinate amount of time seeking out anti-Americanism on the forum, real and imagined. Ask him if you can join his team. |

Really?
Whatever. I was thinking beyond you in that post because I didn't care about you at the time, it was extremely late, and I voiced a general opinion.
I did previously talk about your fat feet, but other than that I don't think it was personal. But we can keep it on that level if you want. I'm comfortable with barbs.
Or just ignore me. I'm okay with that too.
BTW, is there some special reason for your behavior I should be aware of? |

Ah...silly bugger has a sock. Care to be outed?
Any special reason for your behaviour and general buffoonary? IQ deficiency perhaps? |
