Now I will tell you all about the perfect burger, and it was made by me. USDA ground beef (no Canadian SARS infested crap). Blackened. And blackened right, too. You could smell it in the house for three weeks. Crumbled bleu cheese, and a smidgen of bleu cheese dressing. Red onion rings, but not too many. ONE slice of tomato. Crisp iceburg lettuce. Kaiser bun, toasted just a little.

A side of curly fries. Potato salad. Two kosher, dill pickle spears.

There's simply no topping that.

Qinella, I don't think you can talk about anyone's avatar. A man? with a cute little cat. Everyone thought you were a girl.

RED ROBIN BACON CHEESEBURGER
We claim this to be the best bacon cheeseburger in the city, state, nation and all the world! It is garnished in abundance with three thick slices of sizzling, hickory
maple-smoked bacon, crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes & mayo. You choose your favorite cheese: Cheddar, American, Swiss, Monterey Jack, Bleu, Provolone or Pepper-Jack.

Dude...where's it at!?!?!?!?!?!

Is there such a thing as a 'best burger' for people with small appetites? Every time I've heard a 'best burger' competition it's fallen into the realm of "Mine's bigger than yours" What is out there for us non-fㅏt fuks who don't want to eat 1.62cows between buns the size of wagonwheels? I want something tasty not big.. If I want to fill myself up I'll go order a bowl or two of rice or something.. Where's the best AVERAGE (AKA 'small' for N.Americans) burger in Korea?

Agreed. I want something juicy and suculent.

It was the bleu cheese/dressing that had me convinced...

And men eat their burgers rare--almost raw. How do you take your morning joe Q?

Half a cup of low-cal, de-caf Kenyan blend "au laited" with the foam and essence of skimmed llama's milk(infused with fresh Andean cinnamon and Maharashtran ginger, of course) topped with whipped camel's cream blended with flax seeds and carob dust. Finally, TWO sumatran coffee beans(dried in the Andalusian sun) with a stick of cinnamon stuck between them balanced just...so...at the crest of the cream.

Nothing tops that.

Muhahahaha. Flotsam, have you spent any time in Seattle? That just cracks me up. I love my foo-foo coffee, as I like to call it. Unfortunately, my body doesn't tolerate it very well any more, so I only drink it maybe once a month.

Thread jack over. About the burgers......

I still think one of, if not the best burger I've had in Korea is at Ruby Tuesday's in Sinchon. The BBQ Bacon Burger, if I'm not mistaken. They also have the Ultimate Colossal Burger, which is a monster.

If this keeps up cubanlord may well be the only person ever to be deported from Korea for getting caught in the process of getting a burger tattooed on his left arse cheek with the words, "You complete me big boy!"

Personally I'm a big fan of the burger @ 3alley's pub. I'd rather eat that any day! Big and tastes good, with a big ol' dill pickle, tomato, lettuce and onion. You always get a pile of fries too, but I ask for mashed potatoes instead. Yummy!

And Qinella..before you rave about USDA beef, read something like "Fat Food Nation". I'm quite happy buying my Australian Beef at Costco.
Cheers!

Did flotsam imply that real men came from Seattle? I don't think so.

LOL!

That's great! Actually I drink it black, arseholio. You're just jealous of my amazing blackened burger that you'll never get to try~

Zappa, um. Maybe I have a gay avatar, but a little blond haired boy commenting on how cute Cubanlord is?

KumaraKitty, I read Fast Food Nation. I thought the comment about SARS infested Canadian beef would be what those of us who aren't in the comedy business call "indicating". Wink

Embarassed OOps..*sigh* sorry Qinella..there I go being spacy again and not picking up on the subtlety of your posting. I'm sorry. Embarassed I was actually concerned for your health and well-being in choosing to eat US beef. Sowwie.

Yeah it can get pretty raw (pun intended--I'm awesome!). I was trying to poke fun at it via adulation. Very Happy

So last night I made another round of awesome burgers. I used ground chicken. Before creating two patties, I shook some cajun spices on it. Grilled them up. Toasted some whole wheat bread, added a little mayo, a slice of Camembert cheese, two slices of sandwhich ham, and crisp iceburg lettuce... hot damn I'm the burger master. At one point, some of the juices from it dripped down onto my pinky and I reflexively bit it off at the knuckle. Whoops.
