He spoke perfect Korean, he grew up here, he served as an interpreter in the US army duing the Korean war and he died a few years back. What was his name? |

He was a great guy, probably forgot more about Korea than most of us will ever learn. He was also one of the first westerners across the Han River after the Incheon landing. He and a squad of US marines swam across to recon. He went as an interpreter for that, too.
