Getting married to my Korean girlfriend later and I'm looking for a good honeymoon destination. I don't have a lot of cash and I don't want to travel too far from Korea. Any suggestions?

I went to Langkawi Island, Malaysia. We stayed at the Casa Del Mar. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at (I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my day). We were there 4 or 5 nights, and it was less $1000 (the amenities are amazing- everything is quality and has a personal touch). I really can't say enough about it. You have to fly to KL, then we took Air Asia to Langkawi (Air Asia was dirt cheap). The website for the hotel is: http://www.casadelmar-langkawi.com/

If you go there, you won't regret it.^^ Congratulations!!!

Congrats!

We booked today for our honeymoon.

We're going to the Phillipines and Japan.

We're stopping over in Tokyo for a couple of days on the way back. The first part is going to be dodging thieves in Manilla for one night, and then flying on to Caticlan and then on boat to Boracay.

Pretty good. Japan is expensive but Tokyo is supposed to be amazing and we're both keen to check it out, Mrs. Keith is not blinded by hatred against Japan and Japanese folk.

Phillipines is really cheap, we've tentatively booked a nice place on Boracay. We haven't got a lot of cash left after kitting out the house and wedding stuff so we're going for the biggest bang for the buck!

A chilled out beach holiday and bit of wild east mischief in Manilla followed by the crazed crazy Tokyo all sounds good. A sophisticated beach holiday and a nice city break.

Good prices on tickets at whypaymore.co.kr

No, I don't work for them but they seem a pretty efficient outfit.

Again congrats.
