| I'm alone in my classes 100% of the time without a co-teacher (I'm the only foreign teacher) and I don't mind. I didn't have to do an open class this year, only one person from the English department did and all the English teachers had to watch and evaluate, as well as a couple vice-principles. I was surprised actually because I assumed that all the foreign teachers would have to do one. Hmmm... |
I am alone as well in the classroom. I have a class on the 16th being reviewed by some guys from the Namyangju BOE and a bunch of principals and English teachers (Korean) from around the area. Meh...I have done so many of these, it's getting ridiculous. This is my third one this year already... |

How do you teach English to 37 students, 80 minutes a week?
Too loud? They shouldn't be saying anything short of "good job". Bunch of arseholes.
As for scripted classes, what the hell's that? Is that stupid, or what? I've something of the like first hand. Bunch of posing, really.
Posing gives me a headache. |
