Here's your chance to let others know how much you know about football, aka soccer.

To play, there will be 2 stages of action.


FIRST STAGE Deadline: Fri. 9 Jun, 6pm (Korea Time)

In the first stage, you must pick the 2 teams you hope to advance to the round of 16 from each group, 2 points each and guess the exact record, 3 points each, for a total of 5 points per team.

Please post your record in the standard win-lose-draw format.

Example: GROUP I
North Korea, 2-1-0
Botswana, 1-1-1

Do so for each group.


SECOND STAGE Deadline: 23 Jun, 6pm (Korea Time)

Once the brackets are set, you'll have a deadline to pick your winners.

You'll receive a graduated set scale of points for each correct pick.

QF: 5 Points per team possible, 2 Points per choice and 3 Points for guessing correct score
SF: 10 Points per team possible, 4 Points per choice and 6 Points for guessing correct score
FINAL: 20 Points per team possible, 8 Points per choice and 12 Points for guessing correct score.


You can join the action at any time but must have picks in by each stage deadline.

Winner is the person with the greatest point total both rounds combined.


NOTE:

For some reason, if a player is caught manipulating their picks after the deadline, they will be disqaulified.

This is the first time to have organized this game on this board so rules can/may be amended before the first deadline.
