This is the 6th post.. and there have been 66 views so far.
I wish I was in Michigan..
HELL, Michigan is a famous little tourist town.. they're having a major bash..
"Everyone who comes will get a letter of authenticity saying you've celebrated June 6, 2006, in Hell."
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060604/ap_on_fe_st/party_in_hell
How'd it get its name? George Reeves, when asked what to call the town said " "I don't care, you can name it Hell if you want to." The name became official on Oct. 13, 1841.
even some comic books from the place:
and playstation:

I saw some previews.
The kid playing Damien isn't creepy enough.
If you're going to make a movie about the Anti-Christ, you need someone who can look like the personification of pure evil. |

There is a warning for those who have been in the dark. The forecast calls for brimstone, sulphur and salt. A nice boiling effect of the skin comes in a matter of minutes.
Our suggestion is to stay in the light.

Why do they re-make great movies? It's a stupid thing to do.
Ah, but I forget.... there are a lot of stupid people on the planet. The ol' Bell Curve assures us of that... |

666 today and the world is still here. Golly.
| Quote: |
13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. |
I'm going to try and engage in commerce today, sans the mark of the beast. I betcha I can buy stuff.
The author of the book of Revelation, St. John, believed he was living in the end times. John writes in the first chapter and first verse of Revelation that the things foretold "must shortly come to pass..." Just in case the reader might have missed that warning, John repeats himself two verses later: "the time is at hand." St. John was right. The world of the New Testament Jews came to an end when the Roman Empire destroyed the Jewish state and the Second Temple in 70 AD.
Most traditional biblical scholars believe Revelation, through a form of deeply symbolic code, addresses the political machinations of the day, not a future history. It does, after all, require certain, let's say, mental gyrations to interpret "shortly" as a thousand or two years in the future. |
