A package of incentives presented Tuesday to Iran includes a provision for the United States to supply Tehran with some nuclear technology if it stops enriching uranium _ a major concession by Washington, diplomats said.
The offer was part of a series of rewards offered to Tehran by European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana, according to the diplomats, who were familiar with the proposals and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were disclosing confidential details of the offer.
Bush? Taking non-proliferation seriously? Making concessions to Iran! I don't know how I feel about this, but it is amazing none the less. |

Well, before you get too excited either way, you should probably listen to the Stratfor Daily Podcast for June 05- it has some interesting viewpoints regarding the current violence in Iraq as well as the current state of US-Iran talks and the media coverage of both Iraq and Iran issues:

(be patient as the first few minutes deal exclusively with Iraq) |

For the podcast, all you need to do is register and they're free. Other than that there is very little free stuff there, regardless of whether or not you register. |
