Most hogwans, unless they do business English classes, won't want you to wear a suit and tie, as they're not really looking for a real teacher. At many, T-shirts and jeans are perfectly fine.

I worked as a 가정방문 (home tutor) and my boss always made me wear a uniform shirt, tie, and the fanciest pants he could buy. I'm sure kids loved it.

Now I wear a fat-guy shirt and trashed shoes. Oh yeah, and pants.

As I indicated, every hogwan is different, but at most of the children's hogwans, casual wear is just fine. Some even prefer their teachers to dress casually. A few of the more elite ones may require trousers and button-up or polo shirts, but if that's the case such clothing can be found readily and cheaply in Korea.

Think about it. Do you really want to show your hairy legs off to Korean students? Apologies if you're a girl.

After I stopped caring at my old hogwan job I wore shorts every day. I don't think the boss liked it but that was part of the reason why I (and another FT there) did it. Now I don't even wear shorts when I'm walking around my small town.

I was recently at a high school teachers volleyball tournament where there were about 100 teachers participating. Despite it being fairly warm only one out of the hundred was wearing shorts. He was a Kiwi.
