Can anyone recommend a budget hotel <40,000? Flying in the evening and need a room for one night. Tiny is fine as long as it is clean and safe with a private bath.

I would also like a recommendation for a hotel/motel near ICN. If anyone has a phone number or e-mail address so I can make a reservation, I would greatly appreciate the information. There are many posts that state that you do not need a reservation and you can just walk in and get a room. We will be traveling with our cats and will most likely be tired when we arrive. Honestly, I will be happy to pay a little more to know that I have a room waiting for me! Thanks in advance for any help.

nothing in the under 40k range in the icn area. You can get place in the airport town square area for around 70k the Hub Herb is one I rec. those hotels do have free shuttles to icn. not much in terms of western food in the area though. also kind of seedy with a lot of room salons and "membership clubs" for those kind of services
If you are a guy you can stay at the sauna at the aiport for like 13k

Anywhere I can get to from the airport is fine, as long as the transportation can handle 3 large suitcases. No cats, please.

There are tons of motels on the island of the airport. Once you get to the airport, theres a bus, 1,500- about 20 minutes away, that goes to the beach end of the island. Was just there this past weekend. There are tons of places; we were looking for a higher end hotel. One of the more expensive ones we found was 60,000. You could also ask at the information booth at the airport. They were very helpful and spoke English.

My co-teachers have just booked me into the Incheon guest House, only a few minutes from the airport. Phone number 032 1747 1872
It cost me 38,000 but having not been there yet I can't say if its nice or not. I hope so as I will be there tonight.

I've stayed at Incheon Guest House twice and it's nice. Both times they treated me well and were helpful. The rooms are clean. The building is more like an office building with a motel inside (when you see the inside you'll understand what I mean).
They shuttled me to the airport the next morning for free. It's nice if you have a really early morning flight. |
