Technomart is in Youngsan Electronics Market, Seoul.
For Costco, go to their website. They have great maps of the Korean locations. www.costco.com
For Wal-Mart, maybe you could go to their site? Actually, Wal-Mart Korea sucks now because Shinsegae, another department store just bought them. I was there last week (in Daegu) and a lot of the American foods are disappearing from the shelves. Wal-Mart Korea is just looking like Emart or Home PLus now. You have no reason to go there. |

Was there ever a time that Wal-Mart in Korea didn't suck? |

Correction time:
Technomart is: Exit 2 Gangbyeon station on Line 2, green. You really can't miss it visually as it's a big tower you can see from the station. Head up to the top floors where there's a nice view of the river. Don't go out onto the street, go into the basement just outside of exit 2 and that hooks up to building.
Yongsan electronics mart is actually a big area that encompasses several buildings. The easiest one to get to and find is the space 9 building attached to Yongsan station (dark blue #1 line) in Seoul.
There are several walmarts around but they are NOT the same as the ones in any other country. They are just another Korean department store with the same products that you can get in E-mart (who just bought them out) or Home Plus.
As for costco, the English version of the Korean website is at:
http://www.costco.co.kr/eng/index.htm
They have maps and directions on the webpages.

For those of you wanting to get to yongsan, try getting off at sinyongsan instead of yongsan station. Its much faster, at least for me (coming from the green line). |

The one at Seollung Stn. was pretty sucky. But the one in Ilsan had lots of great stuff from home. I've heard the one in Suwan was pretty good too. |

Until I got my Costco membership, I was going to Wal-Mart to buy Bacon and hot dogs imported from America. At last look, they still had those things, but I imagine once they're sold, they won't re-stock them.
Wal-Mart brand food, called Great Value, has disappeared from the shelves at the Wal-Marts in Daegu. You could get Great Value instant oatmeal (flavored), spaghetti sauce (expensive, but stull cheaper than Korean brands), and canned pineapple juice. These things are pretty much gone now. |

Yea, I really like the one in Pyoungchon. Do all my shopping there except for the monthly excursion up to Costco. And, it hasn't started to suck yet because of the buyout. They make the biggest pizza pie I have ever seen in my life. Not saying the best, but it's pretty good. If pizzas didn't go bad, it could last you a couple months. |

there's also one at the end of the Bundang Yellow line. Actually its a 10 min bus ride to the south, but I've been twice and thought it was pretty awesome. I'm so pisssed that they're leaving! |
