** Click names for MySpace sites **
Mach Pelican from Australia are the headliners with two great local supporting acts:
The Rock Tigers
and
Kingston Rudieska
plus one different band at each show!

Thursday @ Bar Nana in Itaewon (10,000 won cover) - starts at 10 PM
Friday @ Club Drug in Hongdae (15,000 won cover) - starts at 8 PM

Some great music! Punk, Rockabilly, Ska... ReaL music, Real people - no canned DJ house-mix crap!

*Shameless bump*

As RACETRAITOR said, Club Drug in Hongdae is also known as DGBD and is not to be confused with SkunkHell. I'll re-post his link here to an older map, which unfortunately may confuse matters. In this map look for the bar DGBD (lower right corner). The Bar labelled DRUG is now actually Skunk Hell.

So I take it the shows are this week. Are you sure they are on Thursday and Friday night not Friday and Saturday night? I guess I am just wishful thinking.

Hey there! The map was a little confusing, so I hope someone can clarify. I looked at the old map that was attached here and it seems to me that the show will be at DGBD (according to the map) which in fact is now Drug bar. Is this correct? And also according to the map, the bar which is in fact labeled Drug, is actually now Skunk Hell. Is this also correct?

Im pretty sure this is what was said, I just want to be sure.

Thanks

DGBD = Drug

D stands for Drug, I have no idea what G stands for, and BD is Blue Devil, whatever that was.

One night gone and it was a great time. I am not sure what band I_am_wrong saw but they do not in any way sound like Blink 182. Maybe he saw one of the opening acts, The Waking Party (who happen to have an Aussie front man) who could be miscontrued as Blink 182... kinda... Mach Pelicans used to be Ramones tribute act, and it has highly influenced their sound. Fast and energetic! The Rock Tigers put on a great show as well.

If yer near Hongdae tonight, drop by Club Drug/DGBD and check it out. Well worth the entrance fee.

Maybe I_am_wrong tried some online mp3s and wasn't impressed.

Personally the band I'd be going for at this show is Kingston Rudy Ska, Korea's only ska band.
