Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone knows the best place to find an adapter to be able to plug North American plugs into Korean outlets. I tried Lotte Mart and Wal Mart with no success and was wondering where a suitable store would be located in the southern/western Seoul area. |

If the gear is multi-voltage, any corner store has an adaptor that costs about tuppence.
If it's 110 V only, why on earth would you take it out of US? |

I brought about 4 things over that I didn't want to re-buy here like a digicam, wireless mouse etc.
To the OP if it is 110 v only then you need a transformer that steps the power down from 220 to 110 which you can buy in a hardware store for about 20k won for 2 110 outlets and about 30k for 4 outlets. Note that the 110 outlets on them are usually just 2 prong-I've never seen a 3 prong outlet on them so if your 110 appliance has a 3 prong plug then you also need an adapter that goes from 3 to 2 prong. I bought mine in N.A. so don't know if they are available here. |

Thanks guys.
I have an MP3 player and my laptop that both need charging that I did not want to have to repurchase in Korea and I didn't have time to buy a converter b4 I left.
Now all I have to do is find the store... |
