I have nothing.
I fell down last night when I was out of town and some nice Koreans patched up my bloody knee. But I didn't think about shopping for bandages and now at home, sunday night, I realize I should stock some basics.
Do you? |

Yes! I do, and I have it precisely because of situations like yours.
It doesn't take age or intelligence, but instead nasty cooking-related wounds and bad, baaaaad party mishaps to drive home the need for a miniature dispensary in your bathroom medicine cabinet. Also, whenever you move somewhere new, put all emergency phone numbers including nearby hospitals on a Post-It and stick it to the inside of your medicine cabinet door. You can buy basic (camping-purpose) first-aid kits in Korea. Get one and hope you never need it and it just collects dust in your shinbal-jang.

No, but I have some duct-tape and WD-40. I figure that should see me through most scrapes. |

Good idea.
I got a bike about a year ago after not riding since I'd been in Korea.
Of course I crashed & burned the first night out. Glad the guy had given me the free helmet...
And glad the chicken HOF boy had a first aid kit and a steady hand. Patched me right up & I still get a discount there!
Now I keep assorted bandages, and Fucidin, like triple antibiotic ointment, I think? Hydrogen pyroxide is available everywhere.
Damn Campbell's newfangled "Easy-open" cans. We still have can openers don't they know? |
