Paris Hilton's Hotbox Adventures
Mon Jun 5, 2:03 PM ET
Paris Hilton seems almost supernaturally capable of gracing any and every pointless Hollywood function at once, usually arriving in a cloud of green smoke, Wicked Witch of the West-style, with her entourage of flying monkey flacks hopping attentively around her.
The concerned citizens of TMZ.com were on hand for Hilton's arrival at Hyde Saturday night, when they happened to capture the Simple Life 4 star appearing to nervously snuff a small, lit object while bathed in a cloud of billowy, white smoke. Dutiful Hilton publicist/flying monkey captain Elliot Mintz set the record straight on what could have easily been misconstrued as a quick, non-medicinal, pre-club fix: "I just want to get something clear with you. Paris Hilton rolled her own tobacco cigarettes. It was tobacco that you saw."
However, an olfactorily astute Defamer operative was present at the scene and begs to differ:
Well, i hate to even email you guys about her (because lets be honest, who doesnt hate her by now) but while standing on the corner of sunset and laurel after my show at the laugh factory got out, who pulls up in a gorgeous white on white range rover but paris hilton and one of her barbie friends.
They went into a place called HYDE, not sure what it is but it was teeny tiny and barely stood out. but it was noted by everyone else standing around and waiting for the valet men that her car REAKED of marijuana. im not just taking a joint. it smelled like they were hotboxing for 3 hours before pulling up.
Despite our readers' firsthand account of the incident, as TMZ's impressive video capabilities don't yet come equipped with Odorama technology, it's difficult to definitively refute Mintz's assertion of recreational tobacco usage, or his further Jedi-mind-trick-style claims that "You are not at all suspicious about those tiny bags of powdered sugar or the needles with which she regularly self-injects insulin."

Disoriented Paris Hilton leaves accident scene
Heiress backs into parked car, flees, says paparazzi distracted her
FREE VIDEO
 Hit-and-run Hilton
June 9: Paris Hilton went out for a little shopping and bought herself a lot of trouble. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann recounts the calamity.
Updated: 9:26 p.m. ET June 9, 2006
LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton had a fender-bender accident when her Range Rover backed into a car in a parking garage after a shopping trip, her publicist said Friday.
Hilton backed into a parked Honda Civic on Thursday. A videotape on the TMZ.com Web site showed Hilton getting into the car, saying goodbye to someone and backing up. The sound of a crash followed.
The video showed scrapes on the bumpers of both vehicles.
The Range Rover stopped briefly then continued on toward the exit of the parking structure.
TMZ.com indicated Hilton failed to leave contact information for the Hondas owner and thus may have violated laws against hit-and-run. Her publicist denied that.
Did she commit a crime? No, Elliot Mintz said.
She was swarmed by paparazzi, he said. The intensity of the lights, flashbulbs, momentarily disoriented her. She backed up, there was a minor fender-bender. No injuries. She then told me she notified one of the parking people at the facility how to contact her and asked the person to please pass that along to the owner of the struck car.
She did the correct thing and she would not leave the scene of a crime, he said.
Mintz said Hilton is insured.
Paris is a very responsible and a very good driver. ... She takes her driving seriously, Mintz said. This was unfortunate ... it will be handled appropriately.

Is this the Paris Hilton thread? If so, then boycott her new album! Her new single blows. |
