It've happening, at the half, 0-1.
What do you think about Korea losing to Togo?
I think Togo has shown superior defensive play, I mean, incredible athleticism, ball clearance and body positioning. Though they are a bit too physical some times, and that style may get them into card trouble eventually.
Korea's goaltender Lee Woon Jae and midfielder Park Ji Sung have been good. Lee Chun Soo has been typical of late: ineffective in his passing and one-on-one play (no one should expect him ever to be much of a finisher, that ain't his forte, but he's slumping with what he does usually do best).
And these defenders Kim Jin Kyu #6 and Choi Jin Chul # 4 STTTTTIIIIINNNNKKKKKK. And I am not talking about the lamest free kick this year. I mean in everything. Sit these guys down Advocaat. Don't talk to them, just sit them down.
Second half on.

For the sake of our sanity, I hope they do, too.
I should hate to go to school tomorrow to see kids with long faces because Korea's lost. |

Ahn Jung Hwan !!!!
That lazy bum came into the game and hustled for once, then did what he does so well: pull the trigger, and scored!
2-1 for Korea

Actually for the sake of my sanity and being able to sleep at night, I hope Korea loses right quick.
It looks like Korea will beat Togo but if they play that way against France and Switzerland they will get massacred. There is hope yet. |

The goals and bookings were clean.
But as someone said earlier: if they play like that against the European squads... |

I'd like to thank the Korean team for winning -- on Jesus's behalf, of course -- and saving me any grief, via the Big Nurse, I might have had coming for returning home late had they lost.
A corker of a game! Never any doubt.
This calls for some hot dogs.
