This little bittie is a cheat in the sport of football. F'in' 'C' seems to be proud of it, too.

Read the Chosun Ilbo for more info on this cheat who should, of course, change his attitude about the rules of his sport.

If you are going to troll, at least have the courtesy to post a link.

Quote:
Parks flying act is already well known in the U.K.s Premier League. Fans once thought, Is he just falling over like that because he's a little Asian guy who doesn't eat very much? Now they are praising the maneuver as the perfect way to bring out yellow cards for the opposing team. Park has been fouled 55 times: the team's undisputed leader. Teammate Gary Neville has called Park a defender's nightmare." "Am I injured? Park joked. I'll run till the soles of my feet wear off."

Ha, flotsam, you beat me to the link.

Anyway, nothing extraordinary about it.. he's just trying to play football the italian way.

It's true that due to the difference in size it was quite entertaining watching the little guys fly up in the air every time they bumped into a togolese. I'd love to see them go up against a more physical team like croatia or australia. Twisted Evil

Mr Park looks average (usually) but he is excellent at winning freekicks. If he knows he's unlikely to receive a pass or get the ball, he'll go over, simulating a foul. He wins a lot of freekicks for his team - that's good, not bad. He was the most 'fouled' player in the 2002 WC. You guys need to learn this fast: simulation, fooling the referee, is a skill. Winning at all costs - that's what it's all about at the very highest level.

You mean fooling the referee because you can't outplay your opponent through conventional/traditional means? There is no honor, sportsmanship, or integrity whatsoever in that. Simulation = faking. Faking = BS.

I can't believe that people actually accept this aspect of the game.

If BSing your way to a goal is the only way a team can win, it's time to revamp the rules of the game and penalize those who take advantage like this.
