What do you blend?
I just concocted a blend of canned pears, strawberries, raw egg, ice, a pinch of cinnamon and a multivitamin pill (I'm sick at the moment).
Ahh.
How important is a blender to you? For me it ranks somewhere between a fridge and an air conditioner. |

Breakfast every day for the canuckistans:
2-3 bananas, 1 grapefruit, 1 orange, orange juice = 2 very large glasses of powerfood.
It takes way less time than peeling/eating them individually. |

Mainly, I do my home-made tomato soup and my hummus in it. Evenings around the Boy household are kind of bleak without my hummus and crackers to munch on. |

If you drop a lot of ice cubes into your average blender will it shave it up or will that gradually wreck the blender? There are ajummas selling blends in Daegu's pedestrian mall street for chon won. Shaved ice, chilsung cider, and whatever fruit you want. The Kiwi one was nice.
So will blenders shave up ice cubes? If they will I'm in for getting a blender. |

i use my blender to make super smoothies which are great when the weather is really hot!!! and to take advantage of the fresh local fruit
i also use my blender to make killer coktails and it crushes ice nicely
yogurt is really good for smoothies and protein powder gives it a bit of texture and base
also i like the idea of using chilsung cider as a base...yummy!!! |
