My E2 Visa ends in October, and I'm hoping to extend it for another 3 or 4 months.
How do I go about doing this? Am I even allowed to extend an E2 visa, or do I have to reknew for another entire year? What documents do I need to present to immigration?
Thanks! |

You can get an extension of any length duration from 1 day up to 1 year.
To get a contractual extension you need to go to the immigration office and fill in an application for an extension, pay a 30,000 won fee.
You will also need:
your ARC,
your passport,
a copy of the new contract clearly showing the end date of the contract, and
a copy of the schools registration documents.
Takes about 15 minutes. They will amend the record in the computer and your ARC (with a notation on the back) to show your new exit date.
Quick and painless. |
