Good replies so far. . .

Of course, one should always love and value one's spouse every single day and show it in a million tiny ways . . .(barf)

-BUT-

Gold is good. Consider it saving for a rainy day. When the world economy collapses, a nice chunk will buy you some onions, a bottle of soju and maybe a head of cabbage.

homemade gift certificates are nice too.

But the best is the massage / facial (no, not that kind you gutter rats) / day at the spa. When she's gone, clean the house, prepare a fantastic meal with a nice bottle of wine, and make sure the kids are at grandma's Wink

My woman also isn't too attracted to rich gifts. I did well this year during her birthday by getting her:

-a robotic floor sweeper
-a bike (which she picked out)
-cuckoo clock

Or,

Promise that you won't kill her while she sleeps for a whole month.

The relief itself is worth its weight in gold.

Ribbed condoms - truly a gift for her.

Last year I gave my wife a 'pegpig' coupon. Valid for all the lovin' she wants. Expiration date? 1 year. This year? That's right. The updated gold club 'pegpig' coupon. All the lovin' she wants AND all the lovin' I want. Can't miss.

You could also give her a 'pegpig' coupon, but I'm not in Korea to stamp it (the coupon).

In my opinion, that is the best suggestion by FAR.

And gold=tacky.. unless it's white gold.. haha. But that's just my taste.
I'd much rather have a relaxing day to myself at the spa and then come home to an awesome surprise (like steroidmaximus wrote) than get any kind of gift certificate. You'd score big points for cleaning the house while you're cooking too! (unless your wife is a lucky one and you do that already). Very Happy

hahahahahahahahahhahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does he even have a cyworld page? First, he must sign up for a cyworld page. Then he has to send her an ilchon request or she will have to send him one. Then he will invite her or she will invite him. One person asks and the other invites. It really is a sweet and beautiful thing, I say, an ilchon. It's lovely^^ hehehe^^

Thanks princess. I'll make a note of that in the back of my diary.
