I need to extend my visa for an extra week to cover the remainder of my contract. Can I do this at any immigration office, or do I need to go through the same office which processed all my documents when I first arrived? And if I can do it anywhere, could the immigration office at the airport do this for me? I'm going to be at the airport two weeks before my visa expires and it would be convenient if I could do it all then. |

The offices are regional. You need to go to the one for your area, which was almost certainly the first one you went to. |

Is the name of my regional immigration office the one written on my ARC card? Mine says "Incheon Immigration Office" so I'm guessing thats where I go. Am I right? |

Yes, you would go to the Incheon office. The office at the airport cannot help you.
When you go for your extension you have 2 choices.
1) Get a "contractual" visa extension. This extension can be for a period of time between 2-365 days. This requires a copy of your contract or an amendment to it that shows the ACTUAL date that you finish. You will also need your ARC, your passport, your bosses business registration and 30,000 won. You will be extended until the last day shown on the contract so you must leave Korea on that day.
2) Get a short term extension. This requires an actual PLANE ticket out of Korea. It can be had for the purpose of wrapping up your affairs and "tourism". It is still on your E2, not a change to B or C. It is free and you will be extended until the time of your flight.
NOTE HERE: no ticket = no extension.
If you do NOT have an extension you MUST leave Korea by the last date indicated on your ARC.
