If you haven't seen Penn and Teller's Bullsh!t (on Showcase), find a place to download it and watch it. PM me for a link if you are too [--] incompetent to find one yourself. Seriously, do yourself a favour and have proof of just how stupid people are and how easily you are being fooled.
I'm busy watching it now, so I'll get back to you as soon as possible. BTW I'll need a real e-mail address, your real name, age, and alien registration number to pass on the link. |

Could you be more specific? I don't actually agree with some of their shows but I watch with an open mind. The only problem with the show is they tend to just make fun of people and swear at them instead of presenting logical arguments why the topic is bulls *clap* hit.
OP: this should be on the off topic forum... as it has nothing to do with life in Korea. |

Some of their shows are a little less clear-cut. But their last one on abstinence-only education really slammed the topic well. They definitely do their best when the topic they're dealing with is total garbage, and not quite as debatable, like Creationism or psychic mediums or PETA. |

Thanks for the quick move... You guys are right on top of things... now on to the next show..." How Internet MODs are a bunch of do-nothing-else wankers" And I mean that in the nicest of ways...
*In my edit of this post I realised that that the word "wankers" is banned... how about masterbationists? self-pleasuring hedonists, or what... *beep* me.. they are obviously a bunch of frikken waenkers *
**Imagine a forum of language teachers in which certain contructions of letters are considered "bad" because they offend a bunch of religious arses... words are words, let it go.**
*** dropped an article, so i edited to fix it... I love the MODS, I mean no disrespect... wll that's not entirely true...oh well..."***

True, they have hit and miss shows and occasionally I have issues with some of their subjects because they attack thing that I more-or-less believe in (say Chiropractics), yet that does not take away from the fact that they call BULLSH!T on most of the things that people in my "home country" tend to buy into and believe... There are always people who will prey on your vulnerabilities and it is good to have some step up and say..."This is Bullsh!t!"
I like the fact that in their first show they said that they cannot legally call these masterbaters "liars" or what they do "scams" but that they can call them a bunch of "mutherfukkers" and what they do is "bullsh!t"
My spelling of certain words here is just to prove that your spelling censorship is a load of bullsh!t anyway... trim/modify/change it as you will.
People are stupid.
Kyrei
P.S. Respond with "Yeah, well so are you!" if you want, but you will only prove my point. |

Yeah, well so are you!
You don't need profanity to verbally assault someone.
Here are some of the episodes that didn't fully sit right with me:
-prostitution, just because I consider it immoral
-pet love, because animals are awesome (although some of the crazy sh!t they showed in that episode was unsettling)
-manners, because if people don't watch their manners they're putting themselves in danger
-gun control, because guns are not going to change the government |

I'll get back to you when I have watched those episodes.. right now, working my way through season 1.
Appparently though you need profanity to avoid spurious lawsuits so I'm "down with that" as the kids say... |

I think "Profanity" would be a good topic for that show. |

Hey I enjoy profanity: "Abusive, vulgar, or irreverent language". As for abusive, sure enough; vulgar, that is up to the individual hearing it; and irreverant is for Christians and I have no regard for their opinion anyway.
P&T telling it like it is. I might not agree, but I agree with their right to say it! |

I think we can all agree that they successfully debunked Fung Shui. |
