|
|
My school told me it would take only a week to get my number for the consulate once the paperwork was given to immigration. It has been six business days now, I had read on here three weeks so I'm not particularly worried.
However, I had planned (appartment, selling car, etc) to be out of the country before July 1st. Is this pretty unrealistic being immigration only received my paperwork on the 12th?
I'm sure this has been addressed before, but as most of you probably know, the search function sucks on here.
Thanks in advance. |

From the day I arrived to the day they had me shipped off to Japan for a visa was a matter of days (I came on a tourist visa then got my work visa). If your paperwork is in order, (diploma, transcripts, passport), it should take less than a week to get the pin number. At least that's how it worked for me.

Thanks, that's what I was wanting to know. Perhaps the holdup is my transcripts, my school doesn't do the whole embossed seal thing. |
