"Hey, Dad, what's a queen do?"
"She queens, Russ. And cooks."
Imaginery points to who gets that one.
All things considered, she seems quite the elegant and classy woman. Good for her. |

I'd be elegant and classy if I was worth 5 billion pounds, Pete.
I do like Queen Liz 2 because she's intelligent and I'd like to have a conversation with her. I'm not pro-monarchist or anti, but I don't believe in changing things that non-Britons think we should change. All English speaking countries are in debt to England. North America, Australasia, South Africa...all fabulous locations, you're all very lucky. It's only right that Canadians, Aussies and New Zealanders keep the British national figureheads on items of their identity (be it flags, currency, what ever else) because white people are not the indigenous peoples in those parts of the world. You are what you are, an Aussie, a Canadian, because of England, no other reason. Maintaining a link with tradition, heritage, is very important in my view, just as the English should not see themselves as an island, non-European people. |

Sure we`re in New Zealand "because of England", ie because it was so crowded and poverty stricken we decided there was nothing left to do but leave... |
